Supporting your children to shine
What are MOTIVATIONAL MAPS®
Motivation lies at the heart of every decision we make and every success we achieve. We are all unique: it’s not our personality or knowledge and skills that drives us, it’s our motivation.
Unlike our personality, motivation is not fixed. It’s dynamic. It changes to adapt to the situation we are in and the challenges we face. We know when we feel motivated to do something, it’s wonderful, it energises us and drives us on to be the best we can be. But we also know when we don’t feel motivated. When our motivation levels are running low it’s hard to do anything. It’s hard to get out of bed. By understanding what naturally motivates us we can begin to understand what makes us do the things we do and say the things we say. We can identify what ‘makes us tick’. We can find direction and we can find success.
People are not driven by what they do, they are driven by why they do what they do. Motivational Maps® are a powerful tool that identifies which of the nine motivational drivers are important to you at the current time. Your unique Motivational Maps® report enables you to see which of these nine drivers are being met and provides strategies for maintaining and improving your motivation.
Whatever age you are, whether you are at school, college, work, going through major life changes or heading for retirement, understanding what motivates you enables you, and those supporting you to identify what is important to you.
